As per the reports received from the officials of the Railway Ministry, the recruitment notification has received a wide response, and around 55 lakh candidates had appeared for the RRB NTPC Exam 2017. Out of the 55 lakh aspirants who appeared for the exam, only 2.73 lakh were able to qualify in the preliminary round. The qualified candidates of the written test are called for the written test which was held on the 17th to 19th January 2017.

The RRB NTPC Mains Exam 2017 comprises of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark. The pattern of the questions will be in objective mode. You will get a choice of 4 options for each question.
